In this workshop Ralph Walker will help you identify ways to amplify the tension in your narratives. In just over two and a half hours (there will be some screen breaks) he will lead you through a series of writing exercises and games that will examine some of the following tension building techniques:
· Micro-tensions
· Mirroring devices
· Opposing forces
· Ticking Clocks
· Character Sacrifice
· And more!!
Together you will be challenged to create obstacles for your characters that will keep readers glued to your pages!
Ralph Walker is a writer and architect living with his family in New Jersey. He is a member of International Thriller Writers and the organizer for #5amwritersclub. He writes thrillers, speculative fiction and screenplays. He has previously published short stories in a number of anthologies.
